Since 2011, Blue Water Woman has shared the stories of the remarkable women in our community.
And we have also expressed opinions.
Sometimes strong opinions. But always based on truth. And, always based on informing women of issues that might critically impact them.

Recently, some phrenetic polemicists who disagree with our editorial voice went before the St. Clair County Board of Commissioners and questioned why government entities and local nonprofits advertise in our publications.
We believe an independent publication should be free to express its opinions without being financially punished.
So we’re asking our readers to stand with us.
We are a locally owned, for-profit publication, and our content will remain free.
